Welcome to the world of Habets Industrial Components & Surface Technology, a company which has been building its name and reputation since 1944 as a supplier and service partner in the field of industrial components and surface treatment.

There is often a world of difference between old and new. A difference in quality and reliability, and a difference in serviceability. This applies to almost everything, so also to the expensive components which keep your production processes up and running.

When these reach the end of their useful life, there are two options: a substantial investment to replace them, or make a considerably smaller investment and have them reconditioned by a company fully equipped to do the job.

As an internationally-oriented organization we have more than six decades of experience in metal machining, mechanical engineering and renovation of large industrial components.

We have worked for more than 40 years with thermal spraying processes which create durability. We have moreover been active for many years as producer and service partner for customer-specific process rollers, such as conveyor belt rollers, run-out table rollers and guide rollers.

Habets signs "Code of Conduct"

During the last GVN meeting, all members present signed formally the new GVN  "Code of Conduct"  Main objective is to increase trust and open the door for more colaboration within the group in the future.
The NEVAT GVN Code of Conduct describes what the values are within the branch. Issues that are important to the mutual trust and cooperation within the group are adressed. The unanimous conclusion is that signing this code means an important step foreward in working even closer together.  The members are now even better equiped in order to tackle larger projects.

 

Big order for refurbishment of 52 chocks (bearingblocks) for a steelwork within Germany.

We are proud to announce that we, amongst others based upon our longterm experience, knowledge and expertise of products within the steelindustry, ecently a big three-year contract with a well-known Austrian contractor have signed.

The contract concerns the renovation and upgrade of 52 pieces of back-up chocks (bearingblocks 10.000 kg) for a cold rolling mill of a well-known steelmill in Germany.
The operations at the first chocks already start by the end of March.
The very strict technical requirements in combination with the short leadtime of the entire project, and the evidence that Habets is capable to fulfill thi kind of projects successfully did our customer decide to choose for Habets.

ISO 9001-2008 certified

In December 2010 an audit tookplace of our ISO quality management system. We are pleased to announce that we are again ISO certified untill December 2013. We took the opportunity to upgrade our excisting ISO quality management system from ISO 9001-2000 to ISO 9001-2008. See the certificate

 

Wind turbines...

Habets has recently been awarded a contract to manufacture parts for windenergy mills, an important component in wind turbines which transfers wind (energy) to a generator.

High precision linked to large size is essential for optimum operation of this critical component of a wind turbine.
