Habets enters into a partnership with its customers. This is why we work together with many of our customers on the basis of different types of long-term contract.

Development & engineering
Our own engineering division with design capacity (supported of course by a CAD system) for machine components, conveyor belt rollers and drums, among other products. We develop advanced solutions to customer-specific problems.

 

Logistics
The logistical and financial processes at Habets are supported by a modern ERP package (EniacBs) and financial package (FMS/400) operating on an IBM AS/400 platform and linked to a Windows 2000 network based on Metaframe (Citrix).

 

Training
Training of staff is something we consider of great importance, and we focus permanent attention on this both internally (company school) and externally. We cooperate closely with various training institutes in the EU-region.

 

Quality
Habets is ISO 9001-certified. All our operations are therefore carried out within the framework of our integral quality control system based on ISO 9001: 2000.

 

 

History

Habets has been operating since 1944 on the industrial supply market, particularly in the machining sector.

 

Following the mine closures of the 1960s, supply has been shifted to diverse industries such as the steel, chemical, automotive, paper and mechanical engineering industries.

In these sectors Habets has developed a profile as specialist in new products and in the repair of various large, complex machine components.

Habets is the new name of Habets Mechanical Industry.
