Big order for refurbishment of 52 chocks (bearingblocks) for a steelwork within Germany.

We are proud to announce that we, amongst others based upon our longterm experience, knowledge and expertise of products within the steelindustry, ecently a big three-year contract with a well-known Austrian contractor have signed.

The contract concerns the renovation and upgrade of 52 pieces of back-up chocks (bearingblocks 10.000 kg) for a cold rolling mill of a well-known steelmill in Germany.
The operations at the first chocks already start by the end of March.
The very strict technical requirements in combination with the short leadtime of the entire project, and the evidence that Habets is capable to fulfill thi kind of projects successfully did our customer decide to choose for Habets.

ISO 9001-2008 certified

In December 2010 an audit tookplace of our ISO quality management system. We are pleased to announce that we are again ISO certified untill December 2013. We took the opportunity to upgrade our excisting ISO quality management system from ISO 9001-2000 to ISO 9001-2008. See the certificate

 

Wind turbines...

Habets has recently been awarded a contract to manufacture parts for windenergy mills, an important component in wind turbines which transfers wind (energy) to a generator.

High precision linked to large size is essential for optimum operation of this critical component of a wind turbine.
