The Vereniging voor Thermische Spuittechnieken (VTS) (Association for Thermal Spraying Techniques) was founded in 1970 with the aim of making the technique better known, mainly in Dutch industry. Thermal spraying is also known as flame spraying, metal spraying, metallization and Schooping.
